Glendale Glitters

Friday night was kick-off to "Arizona's largest holiday light display", Glendale Glitters. It's only a few miles from our house, so we went to take a look. It was a bit crowded but Alex had a good time ... and got a new hat:

That's pretty cool. One of the things I missed most when I lived in FL was Christmas. When you grow up inside of Penn's Woods nothing else is quite the same. It's like living in a Norman Rockwell painting during the holidays.

Yeah, we don't have much for White Christmas here either. I grew up in Iowa, so we miss those a little ... but not enough to move back. :-)
