The Fountain Hills Great Fair is returning to Fountain Hills in February, 2008.
The event will run Friday and Saturday, Feb. 22 and 23, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday, Feb. 24, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
On Sunday, the fair will begin its final day with the annual “Hound and Hare” hot air balloon competition, which starts at 7 a.m. (weather permitting). This event attracts dozens of hot-air balloonists. The launch will take place near beautiful Fountain Lake. The lake is also home to Fountain Hills’ famous fountain, one of the tallest fountains in the world.
